- This learning experience is teacher orientated and verbal instruction based.
- Students are to be sitting at their appropriate desks.
- Students should be reminded that this lesson is important as we will be creating our own text later on in the week.
Learning Experiences
- Teacher explores the layout of an writing a short essay.
- Introduction, Body and Conclusion - Five Paragraph Essay Structure
- Discuss the importance of topic sentences to allow the reader to gain a solid understanding on what each paragraph is about

- No assessment is included in this learning experiences as it is purely instructional based.
Adjustments
- Essay layout sheets will be given to those students who need more scaffolding when developing their own piece of written assessment.
- These writing structure sheets will include images and be visually appealing to support student with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder.
